Jewel by Lisa is a nigerian fashion brand that started in 2005 by Lisa Folawiyo and her very hardworking team.It is a brand that bases its material on mainly ankara.However, there is usually a mix with chiffon,lace,tafetta,cotton and so much more in their pieces.The brand is well known for handcrafting sequins,beads and Swarovski crystals all over their pieces.The garments are usually trousers,shift dresses,shorts and tops with some accessories like clutches.The pieces are to die for I must say.

JBL has gone international with features in Vogue Italia and showcasing the line on the New York Fashion Week.It is truely amazing as one piece of clothing could take up to 120 hours to embellish completely.Below is the SS12 Collection called Vintage Love.Lisa explains that the collection is inspired by nigerian fashion and lifestyle in the 60's.I do want me some vintage love(wish I had the $$££$)!Do you?
