WEEK'S FAVOURITES

Something....eargasmic
Go on and play them not once, not twice, not thrice... You know you want to.

Something... girly
I have plans of making this my signature scent in the nearest future. Got it as a birthday present and I am slightly obsessed with it. A playful blend of pink guava, waterlily, and chiffon vanilla. Utter perfection

Something... delicious
Im a weirdo. I like googling recipes. Actually I consider that perfectly normal because we all love to eat dont we? Made Maple bacon pancakes. They taste like a slice of heaven and they are super easy to make. Just make sure you fry the bacon till its crispy and get rid of the excess fat using paper towels or you would risk turning that smile upside down.

Something... romantic
When Harry met Sally. Its a classic. I happen to be a hopeless romantic once in a while and saw this one some days ago. Its cute. Your typical love story except with an array of high waisted pants and 80s curly hairstyles.

Something... exotic
Love this editorial from Elle France. She makes me feel like stepping up my outfit game and she also reminds me of Zoe Allamby.

Something.... very Nigerian.
Me and my food obsession again. No matter how much I enjoy foreign cuisines, Nigerian food will always have my heart. Discovered these two Nigerian food blogs and I feel like I am being tortured.
Craving ekpang nkwukwo. Lohi's Creations and My Belle don Full are not helping matters.

Off to make jollof rice and continue my boring essay.
Peace.
Love,
Roseanne.

WEEK'S FAVOURITES

Decided to start doing a weekly or forthnightly post (depends on how much school decides to drain me) on a couple things I have been lusting, loving, devouring, admiring, (the list is endless) over the past week. This is the first of that sorta post so, voila!

Something....classy
These Saint Laurent Escarpin Pumps ... shoegasm! I imagined pairing them with mini summer dresses or a fitted high waisted skirt, a crop top and chunky earrings. If only they were student budget friendly *sigh* Waiting for a high street brand to make a look-alike, I can already see it coming.

Something... eargasmic
I've had this song on repeat for so long. Cant get enough

Something... soothing.
Lifesaver, yes. This my to-go lip moisturizer. I use it everyday because I find vaseline a bit too greasy so I use it only at night and lip gloss on very rare ocassions. It smells awesome too. Oh look,  it dont cost a thang! and it comes in caramel cream as well... mhmmm

Something... inspiring.
I've always liked photography. You guys know Nev? Yaniv Schulman ? the guy from the Catfish: TV show? Went on his photography blog some days ago. He has ahmahzing performance photos. It constantly reminds me and inspires me of things I could take photos of. Noted.

Something... delicious.
I get tired of eating the same damn meals so I tried out lox and eggs . Its a twist on the traditional scrambled eggs. Perfect for breakfast or brunch whichever one. Oh, and its Jewish as well (Im not Jewish, just incase you were wondering).

Resumed lectures today *dull face*
Have a great week!

Roseanne,

RECIPE: EGGS BENEDICT

During weekends when I dont have to meet up to 9am classes and rush to class like some sort of super hero, I like to take my time and enjoy a good breakfast.
This is one of my best breakfast meals and I shall be showing you guys how to make it too!

Ingridients
One English Muffin
2 eggs
Hollandaise sauce Mix
4 rashers of bacon( I prefer 4 slices of smoked salmon)
1 teaspoon of butter

Recipe serves 1

Method
1.Split the muffin in half and spread the butter on it
2.Start poaching the eggs (How to poach an egg)
3.If using bacon, fry the bacon. If salmon is used,no cooking is needed.
4.Lightly toast the muffins in the oven and prepare the hollandaise sauce while it is in the oven. The hollandaise sauce mix only needs to be mixed with milk and brought to boil until thickened.
5.Place the salmon/bacon on the toasted muffins, then the poached egg, and pour the hot hollandaise sauce over the eggs.
6.Serve with a cool drink

Try it! It's not rocket science and it is delicious!:)

In other news,I must have been hiding under a rock to not have discovered the awesomeness of eBay! I mean there is a whole lot of vintage stuff on there depending on how much you search, and ahh, lets not forget BID!
I got some cool stuff there and I cant wait to show you guys.
Keep your eyes open or you just might miss em'.

Roseanne,
