ANOTHER NIGHT OUT

Exams ended about a week ago and I am currently working on reviving my normal sleeping pattern and catching up on all the shows I have missed. This explains my prolonged absence during the month of January and I hope you all, my lovely readers, would understand. I spent this whole month dashing in and out of the library, sleeping at 8am and exhausting my funds on takeout (especially pizza). So me and my friends headed out the night exams ended and this was what I wore for the night. It was my first time donning a crop top and I think I quite like it. Its sexy and shows a bit of midriff but yet leaves something to the imagination if you get what I mean....

My skirt and top are from Candy, shoes from Primark, the belt is from Forever 21, bracelet was obtained from my mum and my earrings are from H & M.
P.s leave a comment down below if you want to know where my friends' outfits are from.

I realized I have not blogged this whole month and it is already the 31st. Its amazing how time flies. Also dawned on me that most of my outfit posts have been on nights out. I guess I have to hit the brakes on that and post more often on day outfits. You have to blame it on the shitty weather here because it is either raining or snowing constantly, and that would mean me taking pictures indoors (which I hate so much).I would note that down and work on that as I have more time to myself now that exams are over.
Off to get some rest and listen to Robin Thicke.
Have an amazing weekend ahead!
Bonne nuit!

CATCHING UP

I shall not rant about how terrible I am as a blogger so let me just go on to filling you guys in on what has been happening this past month of my absence. I left Nigeria over a week ago and I started school in Manchester. I have been running up and down the city in my Chuck Taylor's and jumping over pools of water trying to settle in well thanks to the bipolar weather over here.I love Manchester and the city has the vibe I really wanted for University so I am positive that I would enjoy it here. However, I have made sneakers, flats and boots my staple footwear because I do a lot of walking.Tons of exercise for me to loose those extra pounds I gained over a couple rounds of pounded yam and serious napping. Autumn is my favourite season because of how pretty the streets look with fallen leaves upon the green grass. My wardrobe staples include colourful knitwear, wool blazers and scarves from the vintage stores on Oldham Street, a bit of leather, sneakers and soon to be added to my collection, a vintage fur coat I am lusting after. By the way, notice my hair? I am still team natural but I decided to get some sort of afro weave for the sake of protective styling. I kind of miss my hair though but, thoughts?

After classes yesterday I decided to shoot some photos with my friend, Deola. Thankfully the rain had gone down and we were able to get some good shots despite the gloominess. I am wearing my all time favourite vintage wool blazer, faux fur leather shorts and earrings from H&M, black "uncomfortable" flats from Primark, ASOS (gifted) bangles I got as a gift from my friend, vintage sweater and this season's version of my old Mango bag from last Autumn.

I should be posting a couple artsy photos for lovers of photography like me in some days. Just hope the rain eases up a bit so I can get solid shots of the architecture here because it is really historical. Im off now to my Advanced Math class. Hope you are all having a great week.

JUNGLE FEVER

Apologies to the people in the background.Hopefully they would never come across this :)

Looking extra casual in this leopard lined sleeveless shirt and my Topshop skinny jeans.I picked it up from Primark before I went back home and I really like it.I would definitely be taking it on my trip pretty soon. The sandals are from New Look and the clutch and earrings are from H&M. I seem to be leaning towards clutches, longer hemlines, earrings and heels these days although I am too damn casual to dress up super girly often. Most learn to be extra lady like!

Say hi to my friends Ugo and Michael!
I was thinking about doing a post on my hair update as it has grown considerably well these past few months although it looks like it is not making progress. It is currently in plaits as I speak.I know is sounds impossible but trust  my hair to be extra kinky.Sucks that I have to deal with that but shoutout to my grandma for supplying me with shea butter to boost my hair growth.
Hope you are all having a great week.

DOUBLE TAKE

This is an outfit I wore two days ago while I was visiting a friend. We were just fooling around at the town centre and acting silly and crazy as usual. I am not with my full wardrobe currently so I am mixing up different pieces that I packed as I am currently away from school.I recently noticed I have a lot of reds in my wardrobe. This is not intentional.I guess I am some how attracted to brighter colours in the shops or maybe I have not discovered my love for red...?hmmmm

Boots: Evans; Leg warmers, Trench coat, leather shorts, tights, Shirt: H&M ; Bag; Jane Norman; Belt: Forever 21

I havent gone for a haircut yet.Do you guys think I should cut it to my pixie again or leave it this way? Advice please!!

My other friend decided to be a party pooper and not appear in the photos. I decided to feature Esther in this post .I am loving her outfit. It is a bit similar to what Karla is wearing HERE .

Sneakers: Salt & Pepper; Tights,Top,Faux Fur Gilet : Select ; Headwarmer: Primark

I am about heading to see a movie.
Talk to you guys later.
P.S When you leave a comment, include your blog URL so I could check it out.
