YELLOW.WHITE.GREY

Never realized how awesome a combination of these three colours are. I am trying to throw in more colours (especially yellow) into my wardrobe because I don't really have any yellow items besides a tattered hoodie that I used when I still used to make an effort to go jogging. I have always avoided yellow clothes and accessories because of the fear of looking like a glass of pineapple juice. Boy, was I so damn wrong.

LETTERMAN

I think I have on a huge crush on this letterman jacket I got from eBay and this sweatshirt that I got from the vintage store, considering the fact that I have worn it times without number. I think I would wear these items till they literally fall apart and leave trails of thread for me to stitch back together. I recently discovered how much I love sweatshirts and I certainly see myself making them a wardrobe staple.

You guys know the Isabel Marant wedge sneakers that exploded in the fashion blogging atmosphere sometime last year yeah? These ones? I honestly was not a fan but  I got something similar as a Christmas gift from my cousin and I loved them ever since. They are so comfortable and they go with anything. I have always seen Jordan retro 4s as my ideal pair of sneakers but for a girl 5"4 with size 8 feet, I would look very out of place donning those.

Oh by the way, my jeans are from Topshop and my shoes from Dorothy Perkins.
Deuces!
P.S. if you have a blog, comment down below with your link. Would love to check it out sometime :). Also, I noticed that with the amount of technology around, the quality of my photos suck. I was thinking of investing in something that would make the quality of my photos better and make them larger but not necessarily a camera. You get me? I understand I could use Photoshop but seeing that I have never used the software before, I am quite clueless as to how useful it is, Anyone got any ideas? They would be much appreciated! If you know anything about website design, please hit me up. I know I am asking for a lot but I really hope I get a few responses.

CHRIS-TEE

Just a quickie on what I usually throw on on those days when I just cant be bothered to dress up in a proper outfit.I am not a die hard Chris Brown fan but I am in love with this t shirt I picked up from Vintage (weird that they sell such). They had a couple other ones I was loving and I think I might head back there and get em'! A couple sweatshirts too, sweet!

Nothing better than my uni hoodie. Very warm and comfortable.Just what a busy busy student like me needs. I am wearing sneakers by Converse, skinny jeans from Topshop and a ring from Dorothy Perkins.
Back to studying for now.
Hope you are all having an amazing week so far.
A tout l'heure, Bonne nuit!

JUNGLE FEVER

Apologies to the people in the background.Hopefully they would never come across this :)

Looking extra casual in this leopard lined sleeveless shirt and my Topshop skinny jeans.I picked it up from Primark before I went back home and I really like it.I would definitely be taking it on my trip pretty soon. The sandals are from New Look and the clutch and earrings are from H&M. I seem to be leaning towards clutches, longer hemlines, earrings and heels these days although I am too damn casual to dress up super girly often. Most learn to be extra lady like!

Say hi to my friends Ugo and Michael!
I was thinking about doing a post on my hair update as it has grown considerably well these past few months although it looks like it is not making progress. It is currently in plaits as I speak.I know is sounds impossible but trust  my hair to be extra kinky.Sucks that I have to deal with that but shoutout to my grandma for supplying me with shea butter to boost my hair growth.
Hope you are all having a great week.

WOODEN DOORS

Wore this casual yet weather-inappropriate outfit  on my friend's birthday which was on Monday. We walked round town for a while then stopped to take photos then headed out for dinner at a lovely Thai restaurant later in the evening. It was a good day in the end despite the depressing weather.

My friend is wearing Steve Madden leopard print ballet flats,Forever 21 coat, dress and fedora with a Zara satchel.

Wearing a Dorothy Perkins blazer, Topshop jeans, fitted Jane Norman monochrome top (gifted), Jane Norman bag, and my favourite Jane Norman flatform wedges.

I have exams in two weeks so the pressure is on but I am studying as much as I can.Cant wait for school to end already.Have a great week ahead!

PINK FRIDAY

Looking super casual right thurrr. I got this pink oversized jacket a while ago from a local charity shop but I have not worn it since then. This was what I wore yesterday but I think I deserve a slap for looking fit for warmer weather because the weather has been a bit nasty to be honest. I look like I am about to drown in this jacket though. It is a UK size 12.Guess that explains everything.I would accept some form of criticism for not wearing any earrings at all.My friends cant stop scolding me about that.I better invest in many pairs of earrings. Noted!

Wearing my favourite velvet pumps from Topshop, denim cutoff shorts from 7 for All Mankind, Forever 21 tank and my everyday Mango bag.

I have been looking for the perfect shade of pink lipstick to fit my skin tone.I am almost there I think.....
Off to get some dinner now and go watch the Avengers.
Plus,I cant seem to lay off ham and cheese.Yummy!

IF I WERE A BOY....

Hello lovely readers!Sorry for being away for almost a week. I have been busy with a couple of things but now I am done and I have more time to blog.yaay! These pants have been sitting in my wardrobe for the past four months.Decided to wear them today since they have never graced the pages of my blog. I got them a size up because I wanted that boyish twist and I wore them with my best blazer-ish jacket that I got from a local charity store. My friend calls it "the  Godfather jacket" and I must admit that I quite like the name so I would be calling it "the Godfather" from now on.haha! I still managed to keep this look feminine with a bit of jewellery. Cool points!A pair of killer platforms would have made this outfit a lot better. I blame it on monday morning hustle though. What do you think? The weather started out great today but turned out to be a disaster when it started raining. I cant say I am not thankful enough for the warmer temperatures though.

Shoes: Topshop;  Shirt, Trousers: H&M; Bag: Mango; Jacket: Charity shop; Earrings,Ring, multi coloured bangle: Dorothy Perkins; Bangle: Charity shop

My hair dye is running out and my hair is growing already but I think I need to pay attention to dyeing it soon. I was thinking of trying Burgundy this time instead of Auburn which I currently have on.
Should I go for it?

My week looks like its going to be a lot more chill. Going to drown myself in TV shows and more nap time. So happy!
Please please please follow me on Bloglovin' if Blogspot is not your platform and also check out my new blogger friend, Marcie .She has amazing style and she is new to this. Thanks guys!
Happy week!

PUFF PUFF

So yesterday was one of those days when I had absolutely no idea what to wear.I woke up and gazed into my wardrobe for a couple of minutes and...there it was!My beautiful bolero jacket that my grandma had made for me.Considering the fact that I have never worn it before,I decided that I definately had to let it grace the pages of my blog :)
Remember this dress?
She made the jacket out of the same fabric.
I combined it with a pair of jeans and a tank just for a casual look to help me get around school on a busy monday when I was feeling extremely lazy.
P.S Ignore the fact that my hair is flying about. It was windy as expected. Also the name of this post isnt supposed to make sense(its just because of the nature of the sleeves of the jacket lol)

Velvet pumps: Topshop; Ring: Forever 21; Jeans: Topshop; Tank: Forever 21; Ankara Bolero: Grandma's work

I was considering shaving my back and side hair totally to create a deeper punkish look.I mean call me crazy but short afro hair is difficult to please. I am honestly thinking about it despite the claims by my friends to disown me.haha!
Thoughts?
I seem to be drinking excess water these past few days. Its not hot at this time of the year so I guess its a bit weird.Maybe I am over achieving one of my resolutions or something......?
