A couple of photos I took with my friends before we headed out for dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday (biko,* excuse the weird poses lol). Birthday celebrant is the girl  woman in pink. Dont you just love her shoes? 

This was my first time wearing this tank top I got while I was back home in Nigeria. It got some attention which is fair considering it has buttons on it covered in ankara fabric. Sweet! I guess I have to wear it more often then! My shoes are by BCBG, skirt from Candy, the blazer is from Pull & Bear and my earrings and clutch are from H&M. Im out now. Deuces!

*biko= igbo word for "please". Sorry my non-nigerian readers ;)

SECOND SKIN

Wore this outfit on sunday and I actually love this dress.My grandma made it and I love the pleats on the front but unfortunately due to my little brother's bad photography, you cant see it.The wedges are Jane Norman, clutch is from a store in Nigeria, earring H&M and the ring is Dorothy Perkins.

Typing right now is some sort of struggle because I am in Dubai and my Google chrome is not cooperating with me and showing me stuff backwards.Would update you soon with photos of outfits and the city.

First of all, ignore the name of this post.

I must say I totally agree with the fam that I have lost weight.I mean if you have been reading my blog since I started it in October, you would actually see a post of me wearing this same dress but it was a bit fitting at the top as it is meant to be.When I had to wear it to go to church, I quickly snatched this belt from my aunt to make it a bit more fitting.Thoughts?

I am eating everything possible to gain weight and somehow this is slowly happening I guess....

Maxi dress was made by my grandma,the clutch which is my new favourite item is from H&M,earrings from H&M, the belt was borrowed, and the bangle is from a charity shop.

I have so much to update you guys on.My hair journey,hair inspirations, products I would reccommend, outfit posts, favourite editorials and so much  more but I have been busy lately. I originally intended on keeping my hair as a buzzcut but somehow I have been constantly bullied by people and I am totally in love with the way natural hair looks.The twists, the locs, the fros.It is beautiful and I am now eager to grow it natural.But you never know,might get frustrated again.Would keep you updated on all my upcoming posts.

So little time, so much to do*sigh*

Im back!Im back!Apologies for disappearing for almost a month. Incase you were wondering where the hell or what the heck I have been up to to abandon you guys like that, you could try following me on Twitter so next time you would not have to wonder.Anyway, I was busy writing exams and I am finally done with school for the year and boy o boy am I relieved. We had some sort of "get together" on the last day of school (explains the worn out look on my face for being sleep deprived and hungry). I am happy to be done with school till September.You have no idea.I had a hard time selecting photos for this post.Thanks to Deola's uncountable times of saying "can you take a photo?"*RME*

My dress was made by my grandma, heels are BCBG, clutch and earrings from H&M and a pair of worn out eyes. I feel the dress would look better shorter and a bit more fitted ...

Heading home in a couple of days and my room looks like a hot mess right now because I am packing up. But hey, Im heading back to warm weather anyway.

OUI,OUI MADAME

Sorry for the lack of posts!

I am currently drowning in school work as usual because of all the courseworks and mathematical problems I have to keep up with*sigh*

This was an outfit I wore on sunday when I went to Birmingham with my friend.The dress is actually my mum's dress that I stole( Yupp its her's :) ).Its a bit oversize and I have been wanting to fit it to my size and make it shorter like your typical LBD but due to lack of time I have been unable to do so.I decided to wear it in a grandma-ish way by pairing it with my brogues,a turban and a blazer.

Thoughts?

I was unable to take the photos outside because it was so freaking windy and my friend kept complaining about the cold*rolling eyes*

PUFF PUFF

So yesterday was one of those days when I had absolutely no idea what to wear.I woke up and gazed into my wardrobe for a couple of minutes and...there it was!My beautiful bolero jacket that my grandma had made for me.Considering the fact that I have never worn it before,I decided that I definately had to let it grace the pages of my blog :)

Remember this dress?

She made the jacket out of the same fabric.

I combined it with a pair of jeans and a tank just for a casual look to help me get around school on a busy monday when I was feeling extremely lazy.

P.S Ignore the fact that my hair is flying about.It was windy as expected.Also the name of this post isnt supposed to make sense(its just because of the nature of the sleeves of the jacket lol)

I was considering shaving my back and side hair totally to create a deeper punkish look.I mean call me crazy but short afro hair is difficult to please. I am honestly thinking about it despite the claims by my friends to disown me.haha!

I seem to be drinking excess water these past few days.Its not hot at this time of the year so I guess its a bit weird.Maybe I am over achieving one of my resolutions or something......?
