BLOG FEATURE: TERENCE SAMBO OF ONE NIGERIAN BOY

This is my first male feature! Are you guys excited or what?
Meet the owner of the blog - One Nigerian Boy . Along with his amazing team of contributors, Terence has made a blog that is based on showcasing the achievements and growth of fashion, culture  and arts in Africa. His style is really edgy which is I why I have chosen to interview him and get to know more about the story behind ONB.

Can you give us some background information about yourself?

My name is Terence Sambo, I am 26 years old, I'm a full time blogger and currently studying for an Msc Marketing degree from Edinburgh Business School.

Why did you decide to focus your website on African arts, culture and fashion?

As at the time I started One Nigerian Boy, i felt there were not enough blogs showing the best of African fashion, style and arts to the world. I wanted to use my blog as a medium to promote the works of Africans both at home and in the Diaspora.

Who are your favourite designers?

Hard to say...depends on the collection for the particular season.

What are we most likely to find in your wardrobe if we raid your apartment?

Starting to wear a lot of sports shoes now, I never wore them back home in Nigeria but in London my style's leaning towards a sporty aesthetic.

What do you do in your spare time?

Blog blog blogggggg

Where do you do most of your shopping?

No specific place....Amazon is good when you're looking for old season stuff you can't find in stores. There's also thrift stores a.k.a bend down select for one off pieces.

Do you admire anyone for their style? If yes, who?

Theophilus London....i would say i'm sort of a Theophilus clone now.

You would never be caught dead wearing....?

Hard question to answer...cause you never know. I remember saying once in a previous interview I would never wear sneakers but here I am...buying them. Especially fond of Nike Blazers.....

Any style tips for all fashionable men and women out there?

Just be yourself...and contrary to what people say, its ok to follow trends. You also don't have to be stuck in one style tribe all your life.

Are you currently working on any projects for your blog?
Loads, you will see in time.

Check out ONB HERE!
Love,
Roseanne,
