DIY BODY SCRUB

I remember saying in my last post that my next post would be summer worthy. This is it guys!I realized I wasnt too satisfied with the scrubs I have bought from beauty stores  like the Body Shop over the years and I decided to do mine with more natural ingridients.I guess it would be useful for you ladies because it is shorts and bikini season and we dont want them ashy and scaly looking knees and elbows at the beach do we? You would need very few affordable ingridients.I have always known olive oil to be great for the skin and in place of white sugar, you could use brown sugar for those of you with sensitive skin. I added the cinnamon and vanilla to spice things up a little bit.Another advantage is you could keep making more incase you run out of supply... You would need...

1 Empty large jar
3 cups of white sugar
5 table spoons of olive oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
3 teaspoons of honey

First of all, pour the sugar into the jar and add the olive oil and honey next.Stir it all up and add the vanilla and cinnamon.

The end result should look like this.
There you have it!
I exfoliate once a week and since I started using this scrub,I have gotten great results.
Would love to know your results if you try my formula out.
Have a lovely week,
Love,
Roseanne,
X

Cool. I actually use olive oil and white sugar mixture, as a facial scrub. I do a face scrub every 2 days; no more than 3 times a week. I would like to try adding cinnamon and vanilla to my mixture.

Thanks for sharing :)
