CHAUD, TRES CHAUD

Regarding the name of this post, I am not talking about myself please. I am not Megan Fox for Christ's sake and neither am I obsessed with myself.  Finally got to meet up with my long lost friend after several years of separation. It was good catching up over lunch and roaming the streets of London like two misplaced tourists. I'm not going to yap about how awesome the weather has been but allow me to say I have finished about four tubs of Haagen Dazs this past week. That explains how burning hot it has been right? I guess so. Excuse my gluttony, but that is also partially due to my love for ice-cream anyway. I added some random photos I have been taking over summer. Enjoy.

Birthday girl

Midi skirt and crop top(stolen or rather obtained from a generous friend) are from New Look, sandals from Office, denim vest from a charity shop, sunglasses stolen from my mum are vintage, scarf is by H&M and overdue for chucking in a bin, and bag (gifted) is from River Island.

I have a tub of  Ben & Jerrys to attend to. Pray for my sugar levels. Have a lovely week people.

VELVET NIGHTS

Wore this over the weekend on a night out with my girls (two of them turned up late so no photos :p )
I absolutely adored this peplum top I got from a random store. I thought the peplum with the velvet details was a great idea for something different from the usual peplum and then paired it with a basic mini skirt.

The top and the skirt are from Candy, my shoes are from New Look, clutch and earrings are from H&M and I stole the gold cuff from my mum.
I was thinking of doing an A/W Lookbook (more Winterish anyway), Remind me to do that!

STRIPPED DERRIERE

Decided to jump on the bandwagon and get one of these camo jackets that everyone seems to be wearing.Every corner or street I walk into,I seem to find people dressed in camo inspired stuff be it tshirts, jeans or jackets.Another thing that made me attracted to the trend is my love for man repelling items.I guess I couldnt skip this one right.Throw anything baggy my way and as long as it is comfortable,I am good.

Wearing my hi-top chucks, H&M u-neck stripped mini dress, tights and scarf, vintage sweater and vintage camo jacket. My earrings and bag are from Mango and my necklace is from New Look.
I originally wanted the camo from the German or U.S army for some strange reason but I did not find it.Well,I am cool like that.
Should have le fro back in my next outfit post.Pretty excited about that because I am one big ball of awkwardness.

COLOUR BLOCK

Wore this outfit over the weekend when I went out with my friends. I got this gorgeous mini colour block dress over the Boxing day sales and I havent worn it since then.It was a bit chilly outside so I threw "the Godfather" on because my legs started to freeze and I just had to keep warm some how since my thighs were bare.

Shoes:BCBG; Dress: New Look (similar ones here, here and here); Jacket: Vintage; Clutch: Second hand; Earrings: Dorothy Perkins; Ring: Dorothy Perkins; Bangles: H&M

I dyed my hair burgundy on saturday. What do you guys think of my new hair colour? I am really experimenting with different colours right now even though I hear rumours that hair dye kills your hair cells.Well, what could make me more paranoid than that. I think I will stick to burgundy maybe.....no!

OUI,OUI MADAME

Sorry for the lack of posts!
I am currently drowning in school work as usual because of all the courseworks and mathematical problems I have to keep up with*sigh*
This was an outfit I wore on sunday when I went to Birmingham with my friend. The dress is actually my mum's dress that I stole( Yupp its her's :) ).Its a bit oversize and I have been wanting to fit it to my size and make it shorter like your typical LBD but due to lack of time I have been unable to do so.I decided to wear it in a grandma-ish way by pairing it with my brogues,a turban and a blazer.
Thoughts?
I was unable to take the photos outside because it was so freaking windy and my friend kept complaining about the cold*rolling eyes*

Brogues: New Look; Mum's Dress: Autonomy; Blazer: H&M; Trenchcoat : H&M; Bag: H&M; Ring: Forever 21; Bangles: H&M and Charity shop; Earrings: Vintage; Turban: Left over ankara fabric

OMG!Have you guys seen the photos from the Chanel SS12 Couture Collection show that held in Paris  today?
It was one thing - amazing!
The clothes,the setting,the models,the hair...perfection!
I mean the whole idea of the Air Chanel Jumbo jet thing was just parfait!
Check it out here if you havent seen it.
Karl Lagerfeld just made my heart skip a beat with this one.
His collection debuts tomorrow! You have no idea how much I envy you if you would be having a feel of Karl's collection*sobs*
Thanks for the Get Well Soon wishes.I am much better now and ready to drench you with juicier updates from the fashionably forward side of my brain.haha
A tout l'heure!
