CHAUD, TRES CHAUD

Regarding the name of this post, I am not talking about myself please. I am not Megan Fox for Christ's sake and neither am I obsessed with myself.  Finally got to meet up with my long lost friend after several years of separation. It was good catching up over lunch and roaming the streets of London like two misplaced tourists. I'm not going to yap about how awesome the weather has been but allow me to say I have finished about four tubs of Haagen Dazs this past week. That explains how burning hot it has been right? I guess so. Excuse my gluttony, but that is also partially due to my love for ice-cream anyway. I added some random photos I have been taking over summer. Enjoy.

Birthday girl

Midi skirt and crop top(stolen or rather obtained from a generous friend) are from New Look, sandals from Office, denim vest from a charity shop, sunglasses stolen from my mum are vintage, scarf is by H&M and overdue for chucking in a bin, and bag (gifted) is from River Island.

I have a tub of  Ben & Jerrys to attend to. Pray for my sugar levels. Have a lovely week people.

Oops, forgot to post photos of my outfit from my birthday last month. Turned 20 on the 25th (march babies holla! and happy belated). Just went out for dinner with friends. Quick post.

Wearing a missguided dress, vintage faux fur coat and Aldo pumps. Those are the closest shoes to pigalles that I happen to be obsessed with.
Thats all folks.
Happy weekend!

LETTERMAN

I think I have on a huge crush on this letterman jacket I got from eBay and this sweatshirt that I got from the vintage store, considering the fact that I have worn it times without number. I think I would wear these items till they literally fall apart and leave trails of thread for me to stitch back together. I recently discovered how much I love sweatshirts and I certainly see myself making them a wardrobe staple.

You guys know the Isabel Marant wedge sneakers that exploded in the fashion blogging atmosphere sometime last year yeah? These ones? I honestly was not a fan but  I got something similar as a Christmas gift from my cousin and I loved them ever since. They are so comfortable and they go with anything. I have always seen Jordan retro 4s as my ideal pair of sneakers but for a girl 5"4 with size 8 feet, I would look very out of place donning those.

Oh by the way, my jeans are from Topshop and my shoes from Dorothy Perkins.
Deuces!
P.S. if you have a blog, comment down below with your link. Would love to check it out sometime :). Also, I noticed that with the amount of technology around, the quality of my photos suck. I was thinking of investing in something that would make the quality of my photos better and make them larger but not necessarily a camera. You get me? I understand I could use Photoshop but seeing that I have never used the software before, I am quite clueless as to how useful it is, Anyone got any ideas? They would be much appreciated! If you know anything about website design, please hit me up. I know I am asking for a lot but I really hope I get a few responses.

STRIPPED DERRIERE

Decided to jump on the bandwagon and get one of these camo jackets that everyone seems to be wearing.Every corner or street I walk into,I seem to find people dressed in camo inspired stuff be it tshirts, jeans or jackets.Another thing that made me attracted to the trend is my love for man repelling items.I guess I couldnt skip this one right.Throw anything baggy my way and as long as it is comfortable,I am good.

Wearing my hi-top chucks, H&M u-neck stripped mini dress, tights and scarf, vintage sweater and vintage camo jacket. My earrings and bag are from Mango and my necklace is from New Look.
I originally wanted the camo from the German or U.S army for some strange reason but I did not find it.Well,I am cool like that.
Should have le fro back in my next outfit post.Pretty excited about that because I am one big ball of awkwardness.

CHRIS-TEE

Just a quickie on what I usually throw on on those days when I just cant be bothered to dress up in a proper outfit.I am not a die hard Chris Brown fan but I am in love with this t shirt I picked up from Vintage (weird that they sell such). They had a couple other ones I was loving and I think I might head back there and get em'! A couple sweatshirts too, sweet!

Nothing better than my uni hoodie. Very warm and comfortable.Just what a busy busy student like me needs. I am wearing sneakers by Converse, skinny jeans from Topshop and a ring from Dorothy Perkins.
Back to studying for now.
Hope you are all having an amazing week so far.
A tout l'heure, Bonne nuit!
Love,
Roseanne.

ORANGE + LIME

Here I am again, dressed in my uniform and looking confused as usual. These past few days I have just been throwing on a comfy pair of jeans, a scarf, plushy sweater, minimal jewellery, flats or sneakers and a boyfriend blazer when the cold wind blows. I think I have an obsession for blazers because I probably have them in every colour and pattern. Thats pretty fair considering the fact that they contribute to my wardrobe staples. It was so windy today and shooting was getting so annoying because wind kept blowing my hair in different directions and I started looking like I just rolled out of bed.Pardon me this time, TWA would be back in a bit.

I just love black and white photos. They are so vintagesque and I am a vintage person in general. I am talking clothes, art, photos, hair, music, history e.t.c. i just find it fascinating so I should probably get to taking shots at museums and checking online for stuff. How I would love to access the Vogue archive, but a girl can only dream *sigh*

Wearing acid was jeans from H&M, vintage GAP sweater, scarf from H&M, ballet flats from Nine West and a bangle from Dorothy Perkins.

Whats the weekend saying?
I dont have concrete plans to be honest, I just hope I get to make some new dishes and share the recipes with you guys soon.
So little time,So much to do!

CATCHING UP

I shall not rant about how terrible I am as a blogger so let me just go on to filling you guys in on what has been happening this past month of my absence. I left Nigeria over a week ago and I started school in Manchester. I have been running up and down the city in my Chuck Taylor's and jumping over pools of water trying to settle in well thanks to the bipolar weather over here.I love Manchester and the city has the vibe I really wanted for University so I am positive that I would enjoy it here. However, I have made sneakers, flats and boots my staple footwear because I do a lot of walking.Tons of exercise for me to loose those extra pounds I gained over a couple rounds of pounded yam and serious napping. Autumn is my favourite season because of how pretty the streets look with fallen leaves upon the green grass. My wardrobe staples include colourful knitwear, wool blazers and scarves from the vintage stores on Oldham Street, a bit of leather, sneakers and soon to be added to my collection, a vintage fur coat I am lusting after. By the way, notice my hair? I am still team natural but I decided to get some sort of afro weave for the sake of protective styling. I kind of miss my hair though but, thoughts?

After classes yesterday I decided to shoot some photos with my friend, Deola. Thankfully the rain had gone down and we were able to get some good shots despite the gloominess. I am wearing my all time favourite vintage wool blazer, faux fur leather shorts and earrings from H&M, black "uncomfortable" flats from Primark, ASOS (gifted) bangles I got as a gift from my friend, vintage sweater and this season's version of my old Mango bag from last Autumn.

I should be posting a couple artsy photos for lovers of photography like me in some days. Just hope the rain eases up a bit so I can get solid shots of the architecture here because it is really historical. Im off now to my Advanced Math class. Hope you are all having a great week.

CHECK ME OUT

First of all, ignore the name of this post.
I must say I totally agree with the fam that I have lost weight.I mean if you have been reading my blog since I started it in October, you would actually see a post of me wearing this same dress but it was a bit fitting at the top as it is meant to be.When I had to wear it to go to church, I quickly snatched this belt from my aunt to make it a bit more fitting.Thoughts?
I am eating everything possible to gain weight and somehow this is slowly happening I guess....

Maxi dress was made by my grandma, the clutch which is my new favourite item is from H&M,earrings from H&M, the belt was borrowed, and the bangle is from a charity shop.

I have so much to update you guys on.My hair journey, hair inspirations, products I would reccommend, outfit posts, favourite editorials and so much  more but I have been busy lately. I originally intended on keeping my hair as a buzzcut but somehow I have been constantly bullied by people and I am totally in love with the way natural hair looks. The twists, the locs, the fros.It is beautiful and I am now eager to grow it natural. But you never know, might get frustrated again.Would keep you updated on all my upcoming posts.
So little time, so much to do*sigh*
Happy week!

PINK FRIDAY

Looking super casual right thurrr. I got this pink oversized jacket a while ago from a local charity shop but I have not worn it since then. This was what I wore yesterday but I think I deserve a slap for looking fit for warmer weather because the weather has been a bit nasty to be honest. I look like I am about to drown in this jacket though. It is a UK size 12.Guess that explains everything.I would accept some form of criticism for not wearing any earrings at all.My friends cant stop scolding me about that.I better invest in many pairs of earrings. Noted!

Wearing my favourite velvet pumps from Topshop, denim cutoff shorts from 7 for All Mankind, Forever 21 tank and my everyday Mango bag.

I have been looking for the perfect shade of pink lipstick to fit my skin tone.I am almost there I think.....
Off to get some dinner now and go watch the Avengers.
Plus,I cant seem to lay off ham and cheese.Yummy!

TURQUOISE

Wore this ASOS turquoise playsuit over a week ago to my friend's birthday dinner. Paired it with ASOS wedges,H&M black blazer and an old black clutch. We had a great time with delicious food and cupcakes. Also wearing a random combination of jewellery from my growing jewellery collection.
There was an excessive amount of photos so it was pretty hard picking out the ones for this posts. But I survived,so,YAAAY!
I just feel I look ridiculously darker and tired in these pictures...

Birthday girl...

Hope I gave you a good view of my outfit!
I revisited my goals for this year concerning the blog and I haven't really achieved them but there is still plenty of time to do so.In terms of being healthy, I have been drinking less fizzy stuff, trying to jog three times a week but I havent actually been eating dinner on time.Infact,I havent had dinner and I am about to devour some indomie noodles. Its a shame really but, hey!Look at my size!
Im just kidding.Im super tired now so..goodnight everyone!

HOBO

I think the blog post title explains it all.Ladies and Gentlemen,I present to you my last winter outfit! This is what I wore about a week ago. I was extra lazy that day and it was such a gray day. I couldnt be bothered to tend to my hair so threw on my beanie. I think what I would miss most from Autumn and Winter are my faux leather shorts and my vintage wool blazer.  I am happy about the warmer weather though. Its a taster of the weather back in my home country. A tiny weenie bit.:)

Brogues:New Look; Skirt: H&M; graphic pocket tee: Forever 21; The godfather; cardigan: Mango; Beanie: H&M; Bag: Mango

And its a wrap!Oh wait, I cant stop listening to this song
